Our commitment
Funding Invest Grow wants every business owner to be able to explore funding options on our website, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology. We treat accessibility as part of good design and keep working to improve it.
The standard we follow
We aim for our website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, and we design with the Americans with Disabilities Act in mind. These guidelines explain how to make content more usable for people with visual, hearing, motor and cognitive disabilities.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort. We work toward this standard but do not claim that every page or feature meets it at all times.
What we have done
- Structured pages with clear headings and landmarks (header, navigation, main content and footer) so screen readers and keyboard users can move around easily.
- A “Skip to main content” link at the top of our pages.
- Controls that can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus indicators.
- Text colors chosen to contrast clearly with their backgrounds, and a clean, legible typeface.
- Layouts that adapt to different screen sizes, and text that can be enlarged with browser zoom.
- Descriptive link and button text, and alternative text for meaningful images.
- Support for the “reduce motion” setting, which turns off animation for people who prefer it.
- Native, standards-based elements for menus and expandable questions, with state announced to assistive technology.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the website may not yet be fully accessible:
- Our request form is delivered by a third-party platform and shown within our page. We work with the provider to improve it, and some fields or messages may not work perfectly with every assistive technology.
- Third-party content that we link to, such as funding partner websites, is outside our control.
- Newly added content may take some time to be reviewed.
If something blocks you, please tell us. You do not need to use the form to work with us, as the next section explains.
Other ways to reach us
You can complete your funding request without using the online form. Call or email us and a team member will gather the details with you and answer any questions. If you use a relay service, you are welcome to use the one of your choice to reach us.
- Phone: (877) 596-1046
- Email: [email protected]
We can also provide information about our Services in another format on request.
Compatibility
The website is designed to work with current versions of widely used browsers, including Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge, and with common assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice control and keyboard-only navigation, on desktop and mobile devices. Performance may vary with older software.
Tell us about a barrier
Your feedback helps us improve. If you have trouble using any part of the website, or you have a suggestion, please tell us. It helps if you include:
- the web address of the page and a description of the problem;
- the browser, device and any assistive technology you were using; and
- how you would prefer us to reply.
We read every message, aim to reply promptly, and use what we learn to fix issues and prevent similar ones.
How we review accessibility
We check our pages with a mix of automated testing tools and manual review, including keyboard-only navigation and testing with assistive technology. We review the site whenever we make significant changes and on a regular basis, track the issues we find, and fix those that affect the most people first. We also ask our providers to meet the same standard.
